Generative AI and elections are in the spotlight in a new report from UBC’s Centre for the Study of Democratic Institutions. The report identifies that generative AI-created audio, video, and images have appeared in many election campaigns this year, including in Bangladesh, France, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
